The Adventist Church in Trondheim is a local Christian church which belongs to the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide. It was founded around 1890 and has approximately 100 members as of today. This is the only Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sør-Trøndelag. The goal of the Adventist church is to inspire people to come to Christ and believe in Him, as well as looking forward to the promise in the Bible of Jesus coming again soon. The Adventist Church does meet for Bible study and Church service in Schirmers gate 11, every Saturday morning. It is an important fellowship for the members as well as others who visit our church.
Another important activity has been the Radio Adventkirken, which has been on the air since 1982 in Trondheim. It was closed down 25th of July 2011, but the church services and eventually other programs will be available on this internet site’s section “Services“. The Nidelven school has been run by the Adventist church since 1978 and is a private Christian school with approximately 40 students. You can read more about it on www.nidelvenskole.com.
